Hi, I’m Jo

I’m a movement artist, yoga instructor & meditation teacher.  I am deeply committed to guiding all people on the path of realizing that their bodies are actual, literal miracles. I am interested in discovering practices to help you transform and heal while better connecting to all those around you.

I was born and raised in New York City and took my first yoga and mediation class in college. I completed my 200-hour teacher training with YogaWorks in 2019 and most recently taught vinyasa yoga centered classes at BK Yoga Club. I am currently in the process of rigorous stud yof Foundational Buddhist Teaching in the Gelug tradition of Tibet through the 200-hour Meditation Teacher Training Program at Three Jewels NYC. I have been blessed to study with incredible teachers including Hector Marcel, of the Gelugpa lineage of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

In addition to yoga - I am also a pole dancer, an aerialist, and a lover of Caribbean Dance and Soca music. I am a former NCAA Division I Athlete in three different sports - rowing, track & field and cross country. I still train for various races ranging from marathons to 5Ks.  I also spent about ten years recruiting engineers in Mountain View, CA and NYC and creating mindfulness and wellness programming at Google.

I love the practice of infusing all areas of my life and my connections with wellness. Whether it's through moving, sitting still, breathing or designing your life - I seek to support you in doing the same.
